Young‘s Suncoast FAQ’s
At what age may I rent a vacation property and sign the rental agreement?
Anyone age 21 and above may rent a vacation property through Young’s Suncoast Vacation Rentals. Guests under the age of 21 must have direct adult supervision at all times when on rental premises. Absolutely no unit will be rented to vacationing students under 21 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian of age as mentioned above. The person checking in must be the person who is renting the unit. Any reservations obtained under false pretense may be subject to loss of prepayment, rental payments, taxes and fees.
*Some properties have a minimum age restriction of 25.
Do you collect a deposit or prepayment?
We require a non-refundable processing fee at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Processing fees may vary; $120.00 for reservations booked directly through Young’s Suncoast and $150.00 if booked through a 3rd party online travel site.
If purchasing optional travel insurance, payment for the insurance is also required at the time of booking. Please visit our Trip Insurance page to learn more.
When do I send in my prepayment?
Prepayment, processing fees and optional travel insurance payments are due on the day of booking or the reservation is subject to cancellation.
Once you have signed and returned your electronic confirmation you may access the Tenant Portal to make payments online. Refer to your email communications from Young’s Suncoast for login information.
Young’s Suncoast will accept checks for final payment only. You may send your check for final balance to:

Will you confirm my deposit?
You will receive an electronic contract by e-mail after Young’s Suncoast has received your prepayment. This contract contains your dates of stay, amount paid, and amount due, plus our terms and conditions.
Please take time to verify the arrival/departure dates, reserved accommodations and rent amount due. You should contact us immediately if you find a discrepancy; otherwise we will assume all information is correct. Your confirmation letter is also your rental agreement. Please read it carefully, sign it and return it to us at check-in.
What methods of payment do you accept?
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted. For condo rentals, your credit card on file will be automatically charged 30 days prior to your arrival. We prefer one payment of single payment type from one individual. We also currently accept traveler’s checks and personal checks 30 days in advance of arrival for condos and 60 days in advance for houses. Please contact us before your payment due date to inform us if you will be mailing a check.
Am I guaranteed the unit I reserve with my prepayment?
Young’s Suncoast reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the reserved unit be out of order or not available for any reason. When comparable accommodations are not available, the renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate, or receive a complete refund of any pre-payments. Under some circumstances, rates may also be subject to change, depending on the date your reservation was made.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation notice must be given at least 30 days prior to arrival date for daily and weekly condo rentals, 60 days for house rentals and 90 days for monthly reservations. If it is necessary to cancel your reservation, with more than the required advance notice, all pre-payments are refundable, less your non-refundable processing fee. Payments with less than the specified number of days notice will be held for lost rent and result in forfeiture of pre-payment(s), processing fee, pre-paid rent and all other fees and taxes unless the rental unit is rebooked for the same rental period, rental amount and payment of the new rental has cleared. No refunds for early departure. Any changes in the dates of a reservation will incur a $30 administrative change fee.
