Former mayor of Gulf Shores from Oct. 1988 to Nov. 2004. David has been in the resort accommodations, property management, and sales and development business in Gulf Shores since 1975. He is extremely knowledgeable of the real estate industry on Pleasure Island. He is a licensed associate and one of three partners in Young’s Suncoast Realty as well as owner and partner of Young’s Suncoast Vacation Rentals.

Gerald is a life long resident and native of South Baldwin County. The only time he ever lived away from this area was during the time his parents were stationed on the North Carolina coast with the military. Gerald’s formal education was received from the University of Alabama 1967-1972, Accounting and Business Administration Major. Gerald has spent his entire adult life working on “The Beach.” From age 13 till present, serving visitors to the Alabama coast has been a way of life. Along with David Bodenhamer and other partners he has developed several condominium projects, motel properties, and Sea N’ Suds Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Gerald has been licensed in the real estate profession since 1981, receiving a broker’s license in 1983.

YOUNG’S SUNCOAST REALTY has a full-time REALTOR® working with us! Becky Sterling, a REALTOR® with over two decades of residential/condo/investment/land experience has joined YOUNG’S SUNCOAST REALTY. She started her full-time real estate career in 1996. Having grown up in Baldwin County and watched the Alabama Coast develop on frequent visits home make her an asset to our real estate industry along the Gulf Coast. Her communication skills, negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of the real estate industry will be a great benefit to our property owners. Becky’s services to clients include economic and market advice, negotiating, facilitating/managing contracts and developing/implementing marketing plans for listed properties. She maintains strong communication with her clients. In Missouri, she served in multiple real estate leadership positions which included acting as a liaison with public officials. Prior to her real estate career, she was with the Missouri Department of Economic Development for 16 years.
Becky’s love for the Gulf Coast has never wavered. She watched it grow from a simple and sparse coastline to today’s showcase beach that brings visitors from all over the world. Becky believes that real estate professionals need to be part of finding solutions to manage growth and work to protect owners’ property rights.
She has additional real estate specific education and training. Becky is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) which she earned by completing a rigorous course of advanced training and by meeting significant experience requirements. In addition, she has her Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) certification for completing 90 hours of specific education outlined by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Tom and Nancy fell in love with Gulf Shores in the mid 1990’s when they visited for a vacation getaway from their busy real estate business in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1998, they purchased their first investment condo after selling a rental home in St. Louis using a 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange. As Gulf Shores & Orange Beach condo homeowners and sellers, they bring a unique experience to helping clients find a vacation rental or second home. The Gordon’s are “Spouses Selling Vacation Houses and Condos” and see themselves as combination “Matchmakers” and “Treasure Hunters” – helping clients find the perfect vacation home or getting a great offer for a seller.
