Historic Fort Morgan is situated at the terminus point of Fort Morgan Road and offers visitors a chance to learn about many key historic points, including the fort’s important role in the 1864 Battle of Mobile Bay. Explore the fort, walk its natural areas, enjoy a picnic on the grounds, visit their gift shop and on-site museum, play on the beaches and take advantage of the boat launch if you wish. You can even hop a ferry ride on the Mobile Bay Ferry to visit to nearby Dauphin Island and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
