For this episode of Suntastic Finds with GilliAnne and Sydnie, we visited Beach Dog in Gulf Shores, a local spot designed for dogs and the people who love them. Beach Dog offers a DIY dog wash station, professional dog training, and other services. It is a one-stop shop for self-service and concierge style dog care.

We tried the DIY Dog Wash and brought along one of our Young’s Suncoast dogs, Bentley. The entire process was simple, clean, and incredibly convenient. The building has remote access, which means you can enter with ease, and the remote payment system makes check-out fast. Inside, Beach Dog provides high quality professional supplies that are ready for you to use. There is also a camera monitoring system throughout the building that ensures a safe and secure environment.

If you prefer not to wash your dog yourself, Beach Dog also offers appointments for professional care. Whether your pup needs a full wash, some guided training, or a fun day of socializing, their team is ready to help.

Beach Dog is a great local resource for both residents and visitors. It is especially helpful for guests staying in pet-friendly rentals who want to keep their pups clean after beach walks or outdoor adventures.

Young’s Suncoast Collecting Donations for Holiday Meal Boxes

Young’s Suncoast Realty & Vacation Rentals is excited to kick off its 2025 Holiday Food Drive, supporting the Christian Service Center in Gulf Shores. Teaming up with the Sirens of the Sea Mardi Gras Krewe and Printing Zone, we’re collecting non-perishable items that help create a meaningful Holiday Dinner for local families.

Community members are encouraged to donate items such as:

  • Stuffing mix
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Creamy soups
  • Canned vegetables
  • Broth, gravy, and other Holiday Dinner staples

All donated items will be packed into Christmas Meal Boxes and given to families served by the Christian Service Center, which provides essential support to residents throughout Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan.
