Charming Gulf Front Cottage in Secluded Fort Morgan.

This family friendly, clean and unique home was completely renovated top to bottom with new furniture and appliances May 2014.

Being next to Bon Secour National Refuge Area (over 6,000 acres) you can enjoy the natural beauty of this area without high rise buildings obstructing your view.

Just up the stairs, you enter through the large well-equipped eat in kitchen with stainless steel appliances with an immediate view of the beach through the wall of windows in the kitchen. The living room area is large and comfy with a large flat screen tv. You immediately feel you have reached your paradise destination with the subtle beachy feel with pops of color throughout. The expansive windows covering half of the living room bring the outdoors in as you see the beach to the east and the French doors beckon you to the screened in oversized porch to the south with a hint of the outside patio. You can't help but want to walk outside and hear the Gulf of Mexico waters coming upon the shore of the soft white sandy beach. This cottage has 2 bedrooms. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twin beds) and a shared bathroom. The master has a queen bed, flat screen tv, private bathroom, and French doors leading you to the screened oversized porch that spans the complete width of the house. The porch has roll up shades, a conversation area complete with sofa and chairs, a dining table for 8 with an unobstructed 180 degree view of the beach. Just outside the screened porch is a deck with enough Adirondack chairs and loungers for all. Enjoy the Weber charcoal grill and the view! As you walk down the stairs the beach is just a few steps away. The natural foliage and dunes are a pleasant welcome to the beach.

If you are looking for a family get-a-way or a secluded romantic weekend, this true southern beach cottage is perfect any time of the year.

This beach that was once the training grounds for all of Naval Aviation is now the training ground for the best in Naval Aviation, who knows, you may be lucky enough to catch the Blue Angels practicing their maneuvers just a few hundred yards from your chair.

The unique location of this wonderfully updated cottage made for the ultimate beach experience. If you are looking for a lot of noise, commercialization and crowds, this is not your style. If you like seeing the night sky void of all light pollution, long lazy afternoons on the screen porch listening to the ocean, and a true natural beach atmosphere, this is your spot. The owner and caretakers are all about your experience exceeding expectations. Simply stunning.

This cottage is so beautiful, very clean, we loved it so much and we were so happy to relax and unwind. Time stood still. The view is breathtaking right from inside the house! The cottage is decorated so nicely, nothing fussy, very comfortable and right out of a magazine pretty! Very updated. It's nice to step away for a few days and find joy in simple pleasure like watching "henry the heron", walking on the beach, picking up shells, sitting on the porch with the sun your face. Sitting on the screened porch is amazing, views from every angle, we liked to eat outside on the table on the porch, or relaxing there on the sofa, and watching the sun set!! We opened up the doors to the bedroom and watched the sun rise right from the comfortable bed, it was something I'll never forget. We knew from the pictures that we wouldn't want to leave when we got there, so we stopped at the Walmart Super Center on the way in and got out food, that was a good thing, because I never wanted to leave this place. It is so peaceful. No one bothered you, we had the beach to ourselves, a few fishermen, that's it. One day we took a walk for over an hour and never saw another person. Such solitude. We cooked and ate in, and the kitchen has all you need including a keurig coffee maker, all the dishes and cooking items, we went low key and loved, loved, loved this house! I feel like we found a true treasure!!! Thanks for sharing your house Gantt

I have been coming to this house since 1998. It was like camping at first - now I feel I am staying at the Plaza. The many updates and improvements are delightful. The view and beach never change, but the house has been transformed. Albeit there was more sleeping space in the early cottage 8 to ten where now you can comfortably fit 6. The kitchen has been reworked beautifully but the missing west window really leaves off the beautiful sunset and there was room to put a larger window in the space that is there. Glad to have updated air-conditioning, although we did not use it, as in early May there is no need with the gulf breeze, but it would be nice to be able to open the windows to let the air flow at this time of year. I guess we were spoiled by the plain and simpleness of the early cottage, but I am glad to we do not have to "fix" anything during our time there. It really needed a makeover and the job was well done. The bathrooms have been really updated nicely and the whole place is stunning.
