At what age my I rent a vacation property and sign the rental agreement?
Anyone age 19 and above may rent a vacation property through Young’s Suncoast Vacation Rentals. Guests under the age of 19 must have direct adult supervision at all times when on rental premises. Absolutely no unit will be rented to vacationing students under 19 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian of age as mentioned above. The person checking in must be the person who is renting the unit. Any reservations obtained under false pretense may be subject to loss of prepayment, rental payments, taxes and fees.
We do not collect a deposit. However, a prepayment plus an $89 non refundable processing fee and optional travel insurance payment is required to confirm your reservation and is due within 10 days of the date of booking or the reservation is subject to cancellation. The prepayment amount will depend on the number of bedrooms in your reserved vacation rental property. All prepayment(s) and processing fee(s) will be applied to your total charges at check-in and, therefore, not refunded after departure.
Prepayment, processing fees and optional travel insurance payments are due within 10 days of the date of booking or the reservation is subject to cancellation. You may send prepayments to: Young’ Suncoast Vacation Rentals, PO Box 346, Gulf Shores, AL 36547.
You will receive a confirmation letter by e-mail after Young’s Suncoast has received your prepayment. Please take time to verify the arrival/departure dates, reserved accommodations and rent amount due. You should contact us immediately if you find a discrepancy; otherwise we will assume all information is correct. Your confirmation letter is also your rental agreement. Please read it carefully, sign it and return it to us at check-in.
We currently accept personal checks 30 days in advance of arrival for condos and 60 days in advance for houses. Traveler’s checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are also accepted. We prefer one payment of single payment type from one individual.
Young’s Suncoast reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the reserved unit be out of order or not available for any reason. When comparable accommodations are not available, the renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate, or receive a complete refund of any prepayments. Under some circumstances, rates may also be subject to change, depending on the date your reservation was made.
30 days prior to arrival date for daily, weekly, and monthly condo rentals. 60 days for all house rentals. If it is necessary to cancel your reservation, with more than the required advance notice, all prepayments are refundable, less a $30 cancellation fee and $89 processing fee. Payments with less than the specified number of days notice will be held for lost rent and result in forfeiture of prepayment(s), processing fee, pre paid rent and all other fees and taxes unless the rental unit is rebooked for the same rental period, rental amount and payment of the new rental has cleared. No refunds for early departure. Any changes in the dates of a reservation will incur a $30 administrative change fee.
Check-in is between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on scheduled arrival date. Check out is prior to 10 a.m. on your scheduled day of departure.
Please call us if you are planning to check in after 5 p.m. All rent and applicable fees must be paid in advance in order to arrange for an after hours check-in.
