Dining & Nightlife The sun may have set, but don’t let that stop you. Nolan's Restaurant and Lounge - This longtime local favorite, located at Sawgrass Landing in Gulf Shores, offers award-winning steaks and seafood in a serene setting overlooking the bayou in the heart of Gulf Shores. With live dance music nightly, Nolan’s lets you kick it up a notch after a relaxing day on the beach. Cosmos Restaurant and Bar - You can come casual to Cosmos at Fish Camp Landing in Orange Beach, but don’t expect casual service or food. The local hangout offers excellent service and a varied menu that includes sushi, fresh local seafood, succulent steaks, savory chicken, and much more. Plus, you can enjoy nightly entertainment on the outdoor deck. Cosmos is located on Canal Rd in Orange Beach. LuLu’s- LuLu's, Gulf Shores' famous waterfront restaurant
is owned by Lucy Buffett and her famous brother, Jimmy. LuLu's made the
move to the beach from Weeks Bay where it thrived for five years before
landing under the Highway 59 Bridge on the Intracoastal Canal. Homeport,
a full-service marina adjacent to the restaurant, opened in January of 2005.
The Hangout- The Hangout – A celebrated beachfront club and restaurant, the Hangout’s origins date back to the 1950s and 1960s, when it was an open-air arcade and burger joint. These days, the Hangout is back and better than ever. In addition to “world-famous” wings, it’s also home to the Hangout Music Festival in May. Flora-Bama- The legendary Flora-Bama, located on the beach at the Alabama, Florida line, has been a “Redneck Riviera” institution since 1964. After a near-death experience at the hands of Hurricane Ivan, the bar and grill not only survived but thrived. Known for its nightly music, occasional celebrity sightings, and infamous bushwhacker drinks, the Flora-Bama is a must-stop on every visitor’s list. |
